A Typical Day at Havehope Daycare
We provide child care Monday through Friday every week except for the days which we are closed as indicated here.
A daily schedule gives children the stability and security they need early on in life. That's why we strive to provide a stable framework that adds structure to our daily lives but also leaves plenty of room for spontaneous and additional activities.
Overview of the daily routine
Daily schedule for 12mths-4 years
6:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m. ARRIVAL TIME -- FREE PLAY TIME
*Children may select toys, books, puzzles, and more from the cupboards on their own. They may watch children*s programming on television if they wish.
7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. BREAKFAST TIME
8:00 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. Puzzles, Story time, Creative Play
9:00 a.m. 10:-00a.m. Circle TIME
10:45 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. OUTSIDE PLAY (weather permitting)
12:00 p.m. LUNCH
12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Nap time (The children do not have to sleep, but they do have to lie or play quietly on their mat so as not to disturb the other children)
3:00 - 3:30 p.m. Snack.
4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Puzzles, Story time, Creative Art
5:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. Outside play
6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. FREE PLAY TIME -- PICK-UP TIME
After School/Summer Camp/Holiday Schedule
6:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m. ARRIVAL TIME -- FREE PLAY TIME

11:45 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Lunch Outside / Field Trip/ (weather permitting)
3:00 - 3:30 p.m. Snack.
4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Homework/Tutoring(This usually means a trip to the library or age appropriate learning activities(during the summer)
6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. FREE PLAY TIME -- Puzzles, Story time, Outside Play (optional) PICK-UP TIME
